Thanks for leaving a good old fashioned gutsy comment on my 'I Did It' lens; much, much appreciated, so cheers! as they say around these parts. I do like a bit of blood and gore among the citations, so I'll take your sound therapeutic advice! Look forward to reading more of your work on Squidoo and elsewhere.

    Hi, darlin'
The New Holocaust homelessness series is back up and running at this link:
That's the Foreword ~ toggles at the bottom of the page make it easy to go in order.
Here's what the complete series (May 2014) will offer:
    Here's what the series offers:

CATASTROPHE ~ The reader experiences first-person how bad things are very rapidly becoming for the individual who finds him or herself on our urban streets.

CONTENTMENT ~ A comparative analysis between what was considered ?normal? in human society throughout the tens of thousands of years of ?prehistory?, versus what has become ?normal? during the last few hundred years of civilization.

COMMITMENT ~ Reminders from the great minds of western and eastern history with regard to the feasibility of dreaming a better future, and of actuating that dream.

CONTROL ~ Short-term, low-investment, high-return individual and communal actions to relive the pressure on everybody.

CONTINUANCE ~ Slightly longer-term legislative and societal solutions.

Currently 37 pages are available for viewing & the series is in the middle of the "Commitment" section.
Please do forward this link to anyone you think might have an interest in the subject.
    Thank you for reading,

    yours foolie

Glad to see that you are still actively writing. I love it on Squidoo, still I can't wait to see when you start self-publishing on homelessness as well as your science fiction stories on Kindle - so you can start earning the money you deserve.

Kylyssa keep up the good work of one of the homeless at home because I was homeless for four years as a teenager. I worked for the highway department and retired but I still remember the early days sweeper behind a dumpster underneath cardboard and in drainage ditches to keep warm. So keep writing and don't give up.

Kylyssa, your "What to Do if You See a Baby Trapped in a Hot Car" made me go cold in the intro and brought me to tears, it is so important. I did shout on FB and posted it in the forum because of it's importance in the chatter box, it will probably be moved to spotlight but its all good as long as as many people as possible get to see it. Excellent work and I'm so glad its getting a front page feature.

Thank you for blessing my lenses, and participating in the discussion about artwork and artists. Beyond earning points with your blessing, I feel highly lucky to have your kind words contributed to my lens (about what happened to the band Linkin Park; and broadly about the change that an artist must go through and be supported about). I have read your many pages about homelessness, and I feel the knowledge and insight about this topic that you have shared will slowly do miracles. In my opinion, miracles do happen all the time, it's only us locking ourselves in expectations over-stretched in terms of facts and statistics. I believe, if a person, by any means, is able to plant a good thought in a heart for a good cause, that's the biggest achievement in the area of communication. Your many lenses, no kidding, do this to a great extent. Your lenses have made me think hard and yet feel the power of optimism.
That's why I rather 'feel' blessed to have you as my reader. Thank you.

Wow, two angel blessings from today, from one of the lensmasters I respect the most! Thanks for the blessing on the Veterans Site, and Will Work for Food or Money, and the like on Scratch Beginnings. I call those my "social justice" sites, as they all talk about people who are dire straits for whatever reasons: not adjusting well after being in a war, losing a job, or mental illness. I believe that poverty and homelessness can happen to all of us, and we have to stick together as a society so that we help people who fall through the cracks. Thanks again!
